Safety Guidelines
- The bikeways along the Taiwan National Greenway are designated for both pedal bicycles and electric-assist bicycles.
- In summer, take precautions against sun exposure and heatstroke.
- When visiting temples or religious sites, please observe and respect appropriate etiquette.
- Exercise caution while riding on embankment roads.
- When changing direction, always check for approaching traffic from behind and use proper hand signals.
- Watch out for fallen leaves, twigs, or fruit on walkways, which may cause slipping or tripping hazards.
- Beware of low-hanging tree branches along the path that may pose a risk of injury to your head or eyes.
- To fully enjoy the scenic views along the route, please stop and park your bicycle.
Avoid viewing the scenery while walking or riding to prevent accidents. - Some sections of the route connect to steep local access roads or may be intersected by motor vehicles.
