AIF and Chi Mei Corporation Plant Trees Along the Chianan Canal Taiwan National Greenway

To develop a vegetated greenway along the canal, Director-General Tsai Sheng-Fu of the Agency of Irrigation and Farmland (AIF), Director Chen Ying-Shih of the Chianan Irrigation Management Office, Vice President Chen Shih-Hsien of Chi Mei Corporation, and 50 new employees of Chi Mei planted 100 native Koelreuteria elegans beside the Chianan Canal diversion route near Wushantou Reservoir. Over the next five years, more than 500 trees and shrubs will be planted.
