  Introduce

This is the nation’s first museum dedicated to irrigation and water resources, established to present the historical development of Taiwan’s farmland irrigation. The museum features indoor exhibitions that trace the evolution of agricultural water management, while the outdoor interactive displays engage visitors in experiencing irrigation culture. Admission is free, making it a popular educational and leisure destination.

From December to January, during the autumn and winter seasons, the bald cypress trees lining the irrigation canals outside the museum transform into brilliant shades of orange and red. This seasonal scenery, combined with the reflection on the water, creates a unique and picturesque atmosphere that attracts visitors for sightseeing and photography.
