Located in Wutu Village, Linnei Township, Yunlin County, the center was established in June 2018 with guidance from the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau, Council of Agriculture (now the Agriculture and Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation Agency, MOA). It was founded as a dedicated venue for promoting agri-food education and rural tourism, particularly focused on the Linnei taro industry. Adjacent to the site stands a century-old cotton tree, surrounded by expansive taro fields. The venue adopts the concept of a “front shop and back factory” to showcase and market taro directly from the place of origin.
