This century-old Japanese-style heritage building, located in Linnei Township, Yunlin County, was originally constructed in 1911 as the office of Mitsubishi Paper Co. After 1946, it served as the Linnei Township Office. In 1955, the Kyuda Paper Mill was established on the site, later succeeded by the Baolong Paper Mill in 1965. In 2006, the building was designated as a Yunlin County Historic Building under the name “Linnei Old Township Office,” and in 2009, it was officially renamed the “Former Mitsubishi Paper Office.” This historic site bears witness to the development of Taiwan’s paper industry.
