Located at No. 3, Chenggong Road, Yuegang Village, Tuku Township, Yunlin County, the temple is dedicated to the Six-Family Mazu (Liufang Tianhou Shengmu). In 1891 (the 17th year of the Guangxu Emperor), local devotees, moved by the divine blessings of Mazu, carved and enshrined her statue. That same year, an oracle revealed that “a sacred statue has crossed the sea from mainland China, destined for Yuegang, temporarily resting near Haikou. It should be promptly welcomed and enshrined.” The temple was finally completed on October 11, 1997, with a grand ceremony for the enshrinement of the deity.
