Located in Shangjiadong, the Jianan Irrigation Canal Laundry Pavilion was built through the collaborative efforts of the Jiantian Community Development Association. Constructed with wooden materials and traditional mortise-and-tenon techniques, the pavilion was designed as a simple shelter to provide shade and protection from rain for those doing laundry by the canal.
