  Introduce

The regulating sluice gate controls the inflow and outflow of water through the operation of its gates, thereby serving the purposes of water allocation, flow regulation, raising water levels, and discharge control.

Originally, the sluice was equipped with 18 manually operated gates. In 1976, it was reconstructed into 8 gates, each measuring 2.10 meters in width and 1.70 meters in height. In 2000, it was further reconstructed into 4 motorized vertical lift gates with ladder-type hoists, each gate measuring 4.30 meters in width and 2.20 meters in height, with a maximum conveyance capacity of 60 cubic meters per second.

The regulating sluice gate, through its controlled gate operation, plays a critical role in water distribution, irrigation regulation, and hydraulic management.
